Finally, we nailed that Eugene Peterson idiot. You know that guy who re-wrote the bible then dared to call it The Message! Yes, Finally Ken Silva has caught him in a quote supporting Lectio Divina*(Notice the Assterisk)!:
Lectio Divina is a way of reading the Scriptures that is congruent with the way the Scriptures serve the Christian community as a witness to God’s revelation of himself to us. It is the wise guidance developed through the centuries of devout Bible reading to discipline us, the readers of Scripture, into appropriate ways of understanding and receiving this text so that it is formative for the way we live our lives, not merely making an impression on our minds or feelings.
It intends the reading of Scripture to be a permeation of our lives by the revelation of God. Reading the Bible, if we do not do it rightly, can get us into a lot of trouble. The Christian community is as concerned with how we read the Bible as that we read it. It is not sufficient to place a Bible in a person’s hands with the command, “Read it.” (81)
Yes we all know that reading the Bible in a deep and contemplative way is wrong… Show me one verse in the bible we are told to meditate on God’s Word… I dare you… find only one!
Ken Silva really nails Peterson who made millions on The Message who now Ken Silva proves tells everyone to not read the bible. In fact if you watched the video, Peterson does not deny being the author of the Bible and states God used common language… and that the KJV was bad!
Good job on your research to our Affectionate Uncle Ken Silva! He is a top notch research guy!
* (Note that heretic and idiot farce of a wannabe grown up who calls himself “iggy” teaches this heresy so it must be wrong!)

Our partner Eric Barger and his valiant and very couragous ministry TAKE A STAND MINISTRIES notes about the Emergent Church that they “Have buzzword phrases like “Missional Christianity,” “Incarnational Christianity,” “Conversational Christianity” and “Relational Christianity” been attached to the identity of your church?” Apart from the fact that he is not clear as to whether he is speaking of the Emerging Church or the Emergent Church….we are VERY prepared to be upset over the outrageous apostasy! Be aware of the buzzwords (also buzz-saws, and buzzards)!
“Missional Christianity” – VERY Dangerous! Be leery of Christians who make sharing their faith a lifetime practice.
“Incarnational Christianity,” Being Jesus to the world, and living out that vocation….also very dangerous and heretical.
“Conversational Christianity” Come on….conversations? Talking to non-believers, discussion your faith…and leading them to Christ? Having conversations with other fellow believers….NO WAY. No conversations. We Bible Believers talk and you unbeliever, apostate, lost sinners must sit back and listen. No convo. We talk. You listen.
If you catch ANYONE in your church attempting to share their faith or witness to others in such ways, conversing, or trying to act as Jesus would desire us to please report them to ODMAFIA or Eric ASAP!
This has got to stop or this will spread like wild fire!

As an expert discernmentalist I have exposed many cases of heresy and false teaching. I have listened and watched hundreds of thousands sermons (per second) carefully to detect any nuance of bad teaching (ie anything at all to safeguard your ears). I pounce on the slightest spoken word that I deduce as false teaching, or misleading remarks…. calling pastors “out” in public. I have read 245,004 books and found teaching that disqualifies 99% of all Christians as Christians.
….this includes Ravi Zacharias (who has spoken will of a man who embraces contemplation), John Stott (leans towards annihilationism), NT Wright, (Emergers like him) James MacDonald (spoke well of Obama), James Beverly (spoke at The Meeting House in Canada which makes him a communist sympathizer), Charles Swindoll (he once said darn!), Rob Bell (for his cool glasses), Gregory Boyd (he is an Open Theist and does not worship his country like he should) among others.
I have read 1.4 million articles (mostly my own articles) and cite them as a way to legitimize my own theology…I call that EXPERT discernmentalism.
Online Discernmentalist Ministries have been on guard for over a decade prowling the net to make sure that that we abide by theologically correct protocols and orthodoxy. That is the CALLING of most Bible Believers! It is a sad day when conventional heresy detection (pointing fingers) in real life is going the way of the VCR and now we rely on digital finger pointing….sad.
