Slice of Laodicea (SoL) claims that it is NOT a discernment ministry rather it is a “a non-interactive news and commentary site regarding the state of the contemporary evangelical church.”
A) Non-interactive means that you cannot provide public feedback thereby controlling the information that is piped to your mind (ie thought control)
B) Commentary means that one comments on particular events in the contemporary evangelical scene (ie observations, notes, remarks) But we suppose that they are NOT discerning remarks???
What ODMafia would like to know is that is the difference between commentary (ie notes, ideas and views) and discernment?
Is SoL therefore NOT applying discernment when reviewing articles but simply placing random words together?
Regardless, ODMAFIA fully endorses random ideas, incoherence and muddle thinking when it comes to defending the truth!
SoL provides commentary but not discernment? So what SoL is saying is that it is NOT discerning? I would agree that SoL’s LACK of discernment would CERTAINLY be coherent with SoL and their goals.
However, as a supporter of ODMs we stick together in perfect unity and I must pledge my full and blinding allegiance to Slice of Laodicea.

The ODMafia research robot monkeys have their eye on Ravi Zacharias, and their other eye on the Dukes of Hazzard TV show. Our robot research monkeys posted the following question to Ravi Zacharias:
What is destroying the moral and spiritual foundation of today’s society?
Zacharias: I believe a convergence of many factors has taken place. Much of education in the 1960s came unhinged from any moral absolutes and ethical values, to wit the book Excellence Without a Soul by Harry R. Lewis. We have seen this happening the last 40 years. There have been many voices alerting us to this. But more than just a philosophy took over; a mood took over.
Ravi one again makes a fatal error in his conclusions.
Error one: He did not read several discernmentalist articles from Apprising Ministries and Eric Barger’s Take A Stand first.
Error two: He did not first go to Slice of Laodicea for good solid background information.
Error three: He failed to go to Eric Barger’s Take a Stand Ministries to work Rick Warren or Rob Bell into the downfall of civilization.
Finally, using cunning words and pleasing typestyles Ravi seduces his audience into thinking it is all about ‘mood.’ Wrong. Think again Ravi…. We won’t be duped by your intellect, humility, integrity or highly respected ministry.
