God’s Final Warning to America John McTernan has been warning America for thirty years that judgment is coming to our nation. He believes the struggles in America today, including corrupt leadership, is, in fact, a judgment. Since America is basically a good and decent nation, what have we done that could so anger God?
Can you spot her error? That’s right she called ‘America a basically good and decent nation.’ What blasphemy! This beef you have with Jan doesn’t hold up to scrutiny! You are doing what non believers do ~ take a point and twist it half a turn and get what you call blasphemy. I highly doubt Jesus would agree with you regarding this splitting of hairs and of Jan Markel! You obviously have not listened regularly to her radio program, read her writings or know her character. Or when USA supported Pinochet? or when Clinton bombed former Yugoslavia? or when women were allowed to abort any time they want, and not just when it was really necesary? (surely you are critical about this one) Surely, USA is not necesarily the worst nation, and not the only bloody empire throughout history.

For the record, it’s not that I’m antiabortion. I just support it if mother´s life is under risk, or after violation, and maybe if fetus suffers from VERY dangerous mutations (“extreme cases”). I don’t bother too much if it’s legal within first three months (though don’t really support this position), but certainly it is allowing murder when a mother commits abortion after 6 month and it doesn’t meet “extreme cases” criteria.

This goes to show how well your discernment is Julieanne, there are four writers here… all different people who have come to the same conclusion that people like Jan Markell and others like them need to be held accountable. Do you not think they should be? You obviously read Jan’s comment without thinking about it, how weak. This little statement you posted was a brief explanation of what the program was to be about, I found this out by clicking the link you posted. She asked the question, “Since America is basically a good and decent nation, what have we done that could so anger God?” This is a question that was going to be answered in the program. She’s basically asking a question that many Americans would be thinking when confronted with the thought that maybe judgement is coming to this country.
This was very obvious as soon as I read it. Looks like you may have started the wrong website, because it doesn’t look like discernment is your thing.
I just started reading this blog and there is one glaringly obvious thing…people are making many assumptions to prove their points on all sides. You have to look at the whole picture. I’m very glad you had the foresight to actually look beyond the comment. I have been reading Jan’s emails for some time and stand in agreement with her. I can’t say as I agree with everything and her reasoning for some of what she says but that can be said of everyone. At the top of the page there is the tiniest of disclaimers pointing to this site to be a satire. If it was not for my observant nature, I would have totally missed that. How many people DID miss this? Probably many. What you did was really inexcusable. There is NOTHING wrong with Jan Markell and Olive Tree Ministries. Shame on you for misleading people like you are doing! I am a regular listener to Jan’s show and I think you really owe her an apology!!

THe disclaimer is in the banner and in the sidebar, as well as numberous times pointed out in the very thread you are posting on… so your observational skills must be very limitted. Also, Jan Markell has been caught by us numerous times in misinformation… We have communicated with her numerous times and she refuses to address the serious thing called “Bearing false witness”…

Understand that Jesus or J’shua stated only The Father God is good. What was the intent of her comment. Maybe as a ppl as a nation we have tried to take the moral high road, or laws and constitution are based in judo Christian values. I’ve listen to her and she has never departed nor has trident to chanel that Jesus is the way the truth and the light and no one comes to the Father but by His wonderful gift on the cross. Sounds to me like you are just looking to try and find something to argue about. Jan does a great job speaking to this generation about what is happening in our time and I have learned a lot of things from her and it’s always biblically referenced. Why not spend your time trying to tell people about Christ and spend less time trying to criticize the ones who actually do?

Jan Markell has a heart that is sold out to the holiness of God through His Son Jesus Christ. She is filled with the Holy Spirit and is self sacrificing and gracious. How dare any of you attempt to degrade her faith in Christ or her character. Of course she is not perfect, she would be the first to say so.
