Jan Markell is one of the world’s leading discernmentalists. If it wasn’t for her we would not know about RED LETTER MARXISTS disguising themselves as true republican believers.
We need to pay attention to what she states about the Red Letter Marxists. Markell notes ” They feel it is convenient to blot out the words of Paul on homosexuality and focus in on the good deeds Jesus talks about. Most are pacifists who reject an “eye for an eye” (Leviticus 24:19-20). “
Yet for the purported underemphasis of homosexuality why did Jan Markell forget to….
a) Mention LOVE YOUR enemies (Jesus) over against an “eye for an eye? (Leviticus)?
b) Explain her defense of greed disguised in capitalism?
c) Address malice, deceit, or speaking evil of one another (see the OTHER parts that Paul emphasizes in Romans Chapter 1)
d) Explain why doing “good deeds” is a bad deed?
Finally, why does she accuse others of cherry picking bible verses when she herself does the same? We don’t know and we don’t care.
We thank Olive Tree Ministries for true discernmentalism which is a sort of ‘plank in eye’ theology. We are comfortable with our planks, but we deplore your specks!
